Hey there strangers,
Been slacking on the blog side of things as I have been a busy little bee.
Got a new review for you all to read of The Breadwinner, brought to you by Leggless Corpse! You can check out the great review by following this link. Sara Shine, the reviewer, is currently reading Haven so I will have that review posted up as soon as she is finished! I’m still waiting on reviews of Haven from a few other lovely reviewers like Sharon Stevenson and Cate Agosta, but you know I’ll get ’em up as soon as I receive them. Progress is coming along nicely on the third book in The Breadwinner Trilogy, All Good Things, although I am no stranger to procrastination, hehe.
I’m currently in the process of (fingers crossed) working on something pretty big right now…but we shall see how that pans out, can’t give any details out at the moment, so I’m keeping it pretty secret. Muahahaha. All you need to know is that it has something to do with the books. Duh.
In other news, Horror Metal Sounds has a new review team for horror movies, so we should be able to start posting more reviews more often for all our fans. I’ve also gone back to my metal roots and reviewed a couple metal bands to help get the music review team out of a bind so I’ll share those awesome metal bands with everyone when the new music reviews post up! Pretty great stuff we’ve been receiving at HMS! Check out the current music reviews and current horror movie reviews while you wait for the newest stuff! Also, don’t forget to check out the latest in book reviews too! I’ve finally finished Tom Calen’s excellent Pandemic Sequence trilogy, you can read the first two reviews on The Tilian Virus and The Tilian Effect over at The Bookie Monster’s site! Speaking of The Bookie Monster, I’m so excited to announce that my friend Shana Festa has been signed on with Permuted Press! Congrats to Shana, I know she deserves this and great things are coming her way!! Check out her GoodReads page for her upcoming zombie apocalypse novel, Time of Death: Induction.
