Happy July, everybody!
I figured before the end of Summer hits and things start to get wild and busy for me I’d bring everyone up to speed with a new blog post. Well… I mean, things seem to always be wild and busy for me so let me not lie… but anyway, I’m updating my blog with something besides a movie review, so there!
Anyway, if you haven’t noticed, I no longer have a personal Facebook page. This is because Facebook sucks and most of the people on it abuse the hell out of it. So, meh, I deactivated it. No telling when I’ll be back on, but for now, you still have my Breadwinner Facebook Page so make sure you head over there from time to time, subscribe, and give it some love. That’s where my updates are aside from here. And in case you’ve been living under a rock, you can still always find me on Twitter.
I also made an IG account ::gasp:: shocking, I know, right? I was so anti-Instagram for the longest. But, if you’d like to subscribe to me on there and get awesome pictures of awesome things then you can find me under @theApacoTaco. On that note, I’d love to know who the fuck took ApacoTaco before I did, causing me to add “the” in there. Same thing with my Snapchat. I need to know, so I can perhaps take care of them… Highlander style.
In other news, my brother in law, drummer Joe Moore, and I have started a podcast. The cast, aptly titled Horror Metal Cast, is an extension of the awesome site I work with, Horror Metal Sounds. So if horror and metal or just one of those things is your thing, then you need to head over to Joe’s YouTube channel and subscribe.
We’ve been doing weekly casts that go live every Wednesday at 7pm Eastern/6pm Central. If you can’t catch us live, don’t worry, the casts are there for you to watch, or roll your eyes to, as soon as the live broadcast ends.
As far as writing news goes, Stephen and I are still working on the sequel to SLASHVIVOR! Our short story collab will be featured in an upcoming charity anthology for Scares That Care. It is a Slashvivor sequel of sorts, or rather a “Season Finale” to the epic #1 worldwide show, Try Not To Die.
In addition to that, I’m still working on Earth To Millie and the Never Say Die spin-off novel, Trevor: King of Zombies. Yeah, I know, big fucking surprising joke there, am I right? It might seem like I’m taking my sweet ass time, but if you can’t understand that things don’t happen at the snap of some fingers (I’m blaming you, Thanos) and life is full of uncontrollable variables, then that’s your issue to go talk to a therapist about. For those of you that are awesome and understanding and still patiently await the release of awesome things I’m working on, then thumbs up. Much love.
With all that being said, I bid farewell and end this blog post. I’ve got a husband and a margarita waiting on me.
As I say on HMS, keep it creepy, folks.
Until next time —
–Stevie
